Why does the attempt to remote install to an XP machine target start and then fails with an "Access Denied" message?
Answer:
On the target system create the following registry key HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsNT\RPC and then add a dword RestrictRemoteClients set the value to 0. Then reboot the system.
